Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is known as a very strong and light material. It is usually produced by combining or combining carbon fibers. Carbon fiber has usage areas in many different sectors such as aviation, automotive, space industry, sports equipment and wind energy.

Some key properties of carbon fiber are:

High strength: Carbon fiber has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than steel, making it particularly preferable for applications requiring lightweight yet durable materials.

Lightness: Carbon fiber has a lighter structure than other conventional materials. This feature is particularly advantageous in areas that require transportation and mobility.

Chemical Resistance: Carbon fiber is highly resistant to chemical abrasions and rot. Therefore, it can last for a long time even under aggressive environmental conditions.

Thermal Conductivity:Carbon fiber has a low thermal conductivity, which means it can better withstand temperature changes.

High Modulus (Hardness): The modulus of elasticity of carbon fiber is high. This means that the material is resistant to deformation.

Electrical Conductivity: The electrical conductivity of carbon fiber is low. Therefore, while it is used in some applications, it may be considered an undesirable feature in others.
